Are Lady Gaga's Australian concerts going to be crap?

Is Gaga running out of steam?

TMZ reports that Lady Gaga "appeared more out of it than usual" at a recent Auckland concert — apparently she was so pooped that she performed her hit 'Bad Romance' laying down on the front of the stage.

Which makes us at FIX HQ very concerned: is Lady Gaga going to suck when she hits Australia later this week? Does she have the stamina to finish her Monster Ball tour? Will she die on stage?!

In case you've forgotten, Lambert was the musical-theatre lovin', glam-rock lookin', gender bending Idol contestant challenging homophobia through the power of karaoke last season. Somehow the eyeliner king made it to second base only to be pipped at the post by bland Nickelback-esque rocker, Kris Allen.

Which is just as well. Instead of recording an insipid "you can achieve your dreams" type ballad the winner is always forced to warble, Lambert got a song co-written by Gaga.

Meanwhile Pink, Muse's Matt Bellamy and, in a match made in leopard-print heaven, Justin Hawkins (remember the Darkness?) also kindly handed over some songs for the new album.

But the star-littered roll call suggests the album should be wayyyy better than it is. 'Fever', 'Music Again' and 'Whataya Want From Me' are standouts but with OTT vocal stylings, a listen to the full 15 tracks results in ear fatigue.

With a killer voice and awesome contributors, the ingredients are there for a glamtastic classic, but in this case less may well have been more.

Is Gaga running out of steam?

Which makes us at FIX HQ very concerned: is Lady Gaga going to suck when she hits Australia later this week? Does she have the stamina to finish her Monster Ball tour? Will she die on stage?!

In Gaga's defence, apparently her Kiwi concerts were so hot that several audience members collapsed. And if you're in danger of fainting from merely sitting in the audience, imagine what it must be like up on stage.

Also, it must be exhausting for Gaga to be so damn fierce all the time. Who could blame her if she needs a break every now and then?

The teenage starlet confirmed the God-lovin' coupling during a radio interview in the States yesterday, though rumours have been swirling for months.

'Make a Wave', a duet recorded for the Disney film Oceans, is due for release in May and is chock full of "save the world" type lyrics. The video features two of our favourite stars frolicking on the beach.

Apparently Robert Pattinson isn't content with ruling the big screen and is ready to take a bite out of the music charts and release an album.

And it appears it's jealousy that lies behind this sudden urge, with R-Pattz admitting he's envious of his muso friends and their bands.

"I want to do one at the end of the year. All my friends are recording albums and I'm very annoyed about it," Pattinson said, according to the UK's The Sun newspaper.

Just like every other actor/wannabe rock star before him, the Twilight star says he has always played guitar and piano but his heavy acting workload has stopped the music.

"I don't know how people like Jennifer Lopez can act and then also sing. Hopefully I'll find some time to get it together," Pattinson reportedly told PerezHilton.com.

While we are concerned about his ambition to be more like JLo, R-Pattz showed he could deliver the goods, singing the track 'Never Think' on the original Twilight soundtrack. READ COMMENTS 11 COMMENTS
